It has been a few years since we did the 300C and 300D so I don`t recall specifically what was the difference between 57/58 and later 60/61 brakes , we did a swap to 60/61 brakes on a C or D and yes there were some stuff that was different between the two . Once I get the D back from the paint shop, I can check visually what is different between each type of brakes, I can compare between my F coupe and the D. Involves I think contact pads and / or vees that hit on backing plate “ bumps or pads” so backing plate changes ? Also small retaining pins and springs from backing plate move too , holes in shoes are in different locations . Possibly large spring too

This info may exist in service bulletin or something ? I seem to remember seeing it ..?
