Hello All - While restoring my late father's 1957 Chrysler 300C convertible, I found spark plug wires with the marking "Standard Motor Products, Inc. CC7N" and tan Bakelite insulators. Can anyone shed light on the possible originality of these wires, and also the possible meaning of the "CC7N" marking? Is this perhaps a date code, such as the "D7" (April 1957) markings that I have found on several components of this car which was built in May, 1957? Wayne Graefen's book on restoring the 300C indicate that the car usually came with ignition wires by Autolite.
