Hi Rich,

 

I already had written to Gloria Moon about that.  Tinted windows was a
factory option on all 300Ls.  Two choices - all or windshield only.   I have
fond memories of sitting with the salesman and going over the option list
when I bought my 300L new.  Wonder if anything else might be misrepresented.
Interesting how these things become "fact" as they are printed somewhere.
No offense to the poster.  Charlie only passed along the link.

I loved this line from the ad: Factory tint windows, only sold in California
with that option.

It may be so but, I don't know-
It sounds so very strange.
