The color looks like an attempt to come close to Gauguin Red - but they did miss by quite a margin. That said, it's a lot closer to acceptable than the rest of the the car which looks like a quickie "restoration" job done simply to market the car to someone blissfully unaware of how this basically sound car could have been done right.. At $64K asking, a car should never be so screamingly tacky. Even rattle-can aluminum paint for the headliner and visors??? Sheesh. Fair price on it should be more like $15-25K max IMHO given that most of the resto will have be done over.

There is a 1957 Chrysler 300 C for sale on Ebay that has an unusual color "Calypso Coral". I didn't find his on the color charts and wonder if anyone has knowledge of this car.
