Re: [Chrysler300] 57 58 Grille restoration

Marv,
If you end up having to re-anodize a grille there is good plating business right here in metro Detroit. Redford Township to be exact. They might even be able to suggest an approach if you explain about the mix of bare and anodized components.

I am wondering if anyone has a process for restoring the aluminum grille for the 57,58 and 59 300s.  The main bars seem to have a chrome flash-like anodized bright on them.  The minor egg crate bars appear to be bare aluminum.  Of my 3 grilles to choose from I have been polishing the best to remove all traces of years of oxidation.   I do not want to disassemble the grille but would like to hear from others who have tackled the problem.
