While I do not know about 62 specifically the 60-61 have a rather flimsy switch on the side of the push button assembly . The R button flips it . It may be malfunctioning . Later they went to a 3 wire switch on the later 727 transmission ( other wire is the neutral safety) . But parts inside the trans changed too for that 3 wire switch The earlier one in same position has one wire , the neutral safety only . So most likely nothing to do with trans , ---the reason I cannot be sure is 62 is first year of 727 . But I believe it still had a one wire neutral safety . The switch on the push buttons is similar to a radio on off switch, not sure if normally serviced separately as it is riveted into the push button mechanism ; maybe others know if available somewhere , Easiest might be get new push button assembly from junk yard , or take a look at it why not working . Maybe bent or something? Sent from my iPhone On Jun 2, 2017, at 12:58 PM, Nigel Wright nigelwright11@xxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] <Chrysler300-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
