I used PPG Concept Urethane single stage paint on my 300H. It went on easily, color sanded nicely, and polished up brilliantly. A few years ago I had to repair a large chip on my rocker panel, and it was very easy to repair the paint. It blended nicely and "sanded in" with excellent results.No clear coat to mess with. I no longer have the car but if you need to see it, google RK Motors in Charlotte to see pictures.

A single stage no clear coat will look period correct, 2 stage is glossier and easier to fix, this is what I did with a black 1961 MGA.
