I would never use painters plastic on any of my cars. It traps moisture and out-gasses. I used it many years ago on a Corvair, and it ruined the paint. The plastic out-gassed onto the paint and no amount of rubbing or polishing took out the marks. I had to repaint the entire car. I use a cover called Sunbrella from Weathertech. Not cheap, but works well, doesn't scratch the paint, and easily stores in its own bag. I used it for many years on my black 300H. Another good cover is Weathershield. I use it on my Jeep.Mark-----Original Message-----

Car covers scratch paint so bad. If sitting for a long time just get super light painters plastic and lay on top. Just make sure the car is very clean before covering
