Re: [Chrysler300] FW: 300H in-line trans filter

Here's an insane price for an NOS one.
NOS MOPAR 1961-62-63 INLINE AUTO TRANSMISSION FILTER | eBay

What I have done with my '62's.....Is eliminated that inline filter.
I have 3 1962 Chrysler's and my transmission guy has said that for the amount of filtration captured by that filter....It's not worth the headache to keep trying to track those filters down.  And so, I eliminated it from the line.  Sounds cheesy; but I cut off the ends that screw into & onto the filter and grafted in a short rubber piece of hose with clamps.

Hello,
Does anyone have a source or a lead for the in-line filter that is midway on one of the trans fluid cooling lines running to the radiator?
I didn’t see anything about it on the Club website under H parts and had no luck searching for it on the web.
