Hi Gary, My opinion is that if the car has had the spot light and molding for most of it’s life, then I would leave it, regardless if they are factory or not. They are unquestionably part of the character of the car at this point, If nothing else, the spot light has to have had a purpose and I imagine some good stories behind it. These cars all have stories to tell, but many of these get lost overtime a car is restored to the way they supposedly left the factory. My 2 cents, Richard Osborne
