I have a repro gas tank in my 62 Sport Convertible. I don’t remember if it had the filler neck separate or not, but I don’t think so . I had to buy new straps and I broke one of them by trying to tighten it too much. I did this in 2012. It has functioned just fine but I don’t drive it enough to really evaluate that. I believe the filler neck was separate. I don't remember if you have to order it separate or if it comes with the tank. I believe you do order the tank straps separate (if you need them). It's been in the car 4-5 years with no problems. Any problems, opinions, tips or suggestions ? Do the replacement tanks have the filler neck installed ? Some of photos I see show the filler neck on the tank and others do not show the filler neck on the tank. Bye and have a great day !!!! Happy 300'ing !! Charlie Valentine 300G ...
