I haven't installed it yet, but Jeff Carter is doing mine, at what I consider a reasonable price. They can keep the look original, but convert to FM and add a hidden accessory hookup. My thinking on the FM is that even with a single speaker, there are many more stations to choose from, and they tend to come in more clearly. And of course with the iPod hookup, the choices are endless. Plus the modern technology will probably be trouble free almost forever. As I understand it, Jeff can also do pure restoration (getting the old tube radio to work) as well, if you want to go that route. Does anybody have experience with any of the companies out there that do restoration of original AM radios? Since it only has the single front speaker, I don’t know whether it makes any sense to do an FM conversion. I have seen some companies that can add a port for hooking up an iPod so that might be a nice alternative, but again don’t know how well they actually work. > > Jeff Laiserin > > ------------------------------------ > > ------------------------------------ > > To send a message to this group, send an email to: > Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or > go to https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/all/manage/edit > > For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm > > For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang > ------------------------------------ > > Yahoo Groups Links > > > ------------------------------------ Posted by: Shannon <labloverdc@xxxxxxx> ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/all/manage/edit For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylang ------------------------------------ Yahoo Groups Links <*> To visit your group on the web, go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/ <*> Your email settings: Individual Email | Traditional <*> To change settings online go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join (Yahoo!
