Ron
Congratulations on your 25th Anniversary as a 300 Club Member. I've been a member for a few years, but only just purchased two 300's Coupes last year. I'm looking forward to starting the restoration later in the spring. My question is , the "ZZZ" paint code? What exactly is it? Just curious? Is it a specific color, or just a special paint code? Also, what about the special interior colors that are talked about, Red, Green, Black leathers, are there others? Do they have special codes? Or are they just an urban legend? My cars are Black and White, I should say, one is Black the other White, what are their codes? The interior on both are the Tan leather, which I plan to get from Gary Goers, hopefully sooner than later?
I have two last questions: First, What are the most rare, interior and exterior colors; second what is the rarest "Combination of Interior/Exterior colors on a 300"???? I'm sure somebody knows! Thanks in advance, "Happy 300'ing"
Best Regards,

Hello, all:
I just received my Club 25-year membership pin and want to thank all of you that have enriched my knowledge of the Beautiful Brutes with answers to my questions and learning from the correspondence between you over the years. In his note Jim Krausmann said it is a Great Club. I couldn't agree more.
Restoration work on E #292 (which I've owned since 1966) continues with the goal of having the car completed by its build date, 1/19/59. I was pleased to learn that, because of its ZZZ paint code, it is only one of nine known to exist (if my memory serves me correctly).
You'll be hearing from me on occasion in the future with more questions.
Thanks, all, for the assist.
Best,
Ron Kurtz
