Then how did the pictures of the modified 300K get through??? There's got to be a way. <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Bob J <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> From: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of 'Ron Waters' ronbo97@xxxxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] Sent: Saturday, December 12, 2015 7:21 AM To: chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] Embed a photo in message <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Yes. The software on the server will remove all images. The reason is likely because any non-text content can contain malicious code. Considering that a few of our members have been victimized by hackers, I'd say that having Yahoo's servers filter out potentially hazardous content is a good thing. <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Ron <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> ----- Original Message ----- <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> From: 'Michael Reed' rmreed@xxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] <mailto:rmreed@xxxxxxxxx%20[Chrysler300]> To: John Holst ; chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, December 12, 2015 6:15 AM <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] Embed a photo in message <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> I'm certain the Yahoo listserver removes all non-textual characters that represent an image from every message it processes, as well as attachments. No matter how you embed an image in a message, the image is represented (internally in the message) as an image and the listserver will strip it from the message when it processes the message on the inbound side. <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Mike Reed in Hastings, Michigan <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> ----- Original Message ----- <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> From: John Holst jholst@xxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] <mailto:jholst@xxxxxxxxx%20[Chrysler300]> To: chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, December 12, 2015 2:13 AM <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [Chrysler300] Embed a photo in message <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> <mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> This link will tell how to embed an image in an email message.
