John, on my 300H , I purchased cardboard from a local upholstery shop. I carefully removed the old upholstery and chrome trim and stripped the cardboard to bare. I used an Xacto knife and carefully cut two new panels. I found the size was very important as is the location of all the holes for the fasteners. I put several cats of varnish on the cardboard. You can then stretch the old upholstery onto the cardboard using upholstery cement glue it to the cardboard. I think I actually got new skins from Gary Goers, but there’s no reason you can’t stretch what you have. That’s what I would do. On our 300G the door panels are a little wrinkled beneath the handle. The material seems loose, and I was wondering if there is filler underneath that keeps it taut or is the fabric just stretched out. I am guessing that this is a common occurrence. Any suggestions? The seat cushion in the driver's seat is disintegrating as well. Where can I obtain an insert that is similar to the original? Thanks again for your input!
