Bill,
I installed a 1100 cubic-ft/min condenser fan on
the front of my A/C condenser for auxiliary cooling when I had the original
AirTemp system on my C. It was wired to come on when the compressor
was engaged but also had a manual switch installed to activate as a “parade”
fan. It works swell. I purchased it from Old Air Products in Ft.
Worth, Texas. My new system has a larger parallel row condenser and we
don’t need it for when the compressor is engaged. I still have it mounted
with the manual switch for auxiliary parade – type cooling. Hope this
helps! 300’ly, Rob Kern

has anyone tried adding one of the hot rod electric fans / I know that
would be a sin to some : (
Last summer I had my 57 C in a parade and it over heated...during regular
driving it is fine.
