Yes, I stand corrected - the toilet seat wheel cover has a small drainage hole, and has no valve stem hole.  I think it has the claws, but not sure. I can take mine apart tonight to look.

Bob,
Yes the hubcap itself is identical, but has 4 attached brackets with short integrated bolts that fit through the holes in the decklid, fastened by nuts from the underside of the decklid. It's been about 3 years since I removed mine to freshen it up with a new 300 center, and paint. I recall that these small brackets were welded or braised onto the hubcap.

For you F experts out there, is the wheel cover on the F decklid the same as the wheelcover on the wheel?  A friend of mine sold a 300F that shipped to Switzerland and someone stole the cap in transit.  Trying to help him replace it.
