RE: [Chrysler300] Vehicle Residential Storage Lifts - Recommendations? (Canada)

I just bought a Bendpack lift from Babco, a 10,000 pound capacity two post asymmetric lift. I did not install it yet, it is in the garage now and I will proceed with the installation hopefully within two weeks.

You mention storage lift in your email, so I’m not sure you want the same lift I bought...storage lifts are 4 post?

All I can say right now is that the service from Babco was very good, shipping to NB went well, the lift was well packaged and arrived undamaged.

Since you are out west, shipping should be less expensive for you than it was for me...Babco is in BC isn’t it?

Price for the lift was just under 4K + shipping...I think it’s reasonable.

Lift is heavy, I had a flat board on wheels (to move pianos) under one end, and my engine lift on the other end to roll the lift out of my enclosed trailer...

I can report back to you once my lift is up and running.

Subject: [Chrysler300] Vehicle Residential Storage Lifts - Recommendations? (Canada)

After two years of searching, my wife and I have just purchased a home with a four car garage and enough height (13 ft) to install a vehicle lift so I can fit all the cars, including the 300 (there, this thread is officially relevant Image removed by sender. Emoji) and a boat in the garage and out of mother nature's reach. I know there have been discussions on lifts in the past but after reading over some of the old posts I found and poking around the internet a bit, I'm still unsure which direction to go. I live in the Vancouver, B.C. area so due to cross border shipping issues etc. on something this size, buying out of the U.S. may not be the best option for me, but one that I would still consider in order to get a quality unit at a reasonable price.

I'd love to here from Canadian members out there if you have any experience with any of the Canadian companies selling lifts like:

1.	LiftKing
2.	Atlas Auto Equipment
3.	Babco
4.	Direct Lift
5.	Lift Superstore (Canada & U.S.)
6.	All Tool Canada

Babco, and possibly others, sell BendPak and Dannmar lifts. Are these really the better quality residential type lifts or is it just advertising I'm buying into?

The big question for me is, from all with experience using these, what should I be focussing on to ensure I buy a storage lift that is going to be safe and reliable? Are any of these US or Canadian made any more? Is a lift that isn't anchored, and comes with castors to roll it around, as problematic as I envision it? (I know the castors are only active when you want to move it)

Thanks in advance to all who respond.
