John,
I suggest you review the factory instructions for seat belt installation on our Club website. There are scans of eBay listings I saved posted at this link:

And this one from John McAdams:

Hope this helps!

Subject: [Chrysler300] seat belt installation
Hello Group, I will be installing seat belts in the rear of my 300F. The front already had seat belts, probably done by a dealer. They are bolted to the floor with big fender washers on the back like others of the day. I need to be able to mount a child seat in the back seat. I was going to do this about 7 years ago for my daughter(who is now 8), but never got to it. Now we have a 2 1/2 year old and it's time to roll to some meets! There looks to be a likely spot to drill a hole just outboard of the unibody rail in the corner of the rear
floor. It could be there or just perpendicular to that in the place where the floor pan turns upwards. That would take care of one side of the seat belt mounting- the other side looks more obvious and could simply be a hole that ends up just by the corner of the mufflers, about an inch from the driveshaft tunnel. Has anyone ever done this who may have some advice?... I'm just a little reticent to drill holes in my original car without a little assurance that I'm not going to ruin my floor pan. |
