Fixing 300s is hard enough - beginning with finding parts that are actually right?!

Last thing one needs is spend dollars on an item, to then find out it wrong, or 2nd rate?!
So it seems a 'no brainer' that if someone is fixing a car that an Insurance Company is paying the costs for, one buys new screens from the known provider that Club Members vouch for his product being same quality as original
- like the cars being damaged is hurt enough already, so why risk more dramas/troubles/grief?!

So I agree 100% with those Members/300 Owners saying there is one person who makes the 'real deal correct 300 screens.

I agree those mentioning Timo. Over the years he has done what Gary, George and several other have done and that is supply the club with needed replacement parts. I’ve never heard a bad word concerning Timo’s service and character.

I do have some “rear” glass from 62’ coupe’s that I’ll be swelling as well as some door and rear passenger glass from coupes and convertibles. Haven’t come up with a dollar figure as that area I haven’t completed yet.

Still have this bug. Got steroid shot today and different medication that I hope works. Doctor said the pollen is the worst he’s seen it in this area in the last 15 years. Have tests April 1^st for tests with my chest doctor. Hope it’s not more than I think it is.

Does anyone have any OEM glass that they would part with? I used to have a number of original windshields, but sold them to people who needed them. I can understand not giving up your last one but, if you have more than one, you might consider providing one in a case like this.

Well Albert, I have dealt with Timo Tanskanen from Riverside California and his windshields are great and fit perfectly.
I would be very wary of those manufactured in south america or elsewhere that have thinner glass and do not fit the gaskets properly which creates leakage and other issues. His may not be the cheapest but I am convinced that they are likely the best quality. If you can afford a chrysler 300 letter car, you can’t afford to not have the best quality and fit.
Just my 2 cents worth from Fern in SE BC with 300H conv and 65 300L ht and conv.

Hello Group,
As you probably know by now, my garage roof collapsed on my cars, and I am looking for the best replacement windshields for a '59 E convertible, a '60 F coupe, and a '63 J coupe. So far in my search I have found the following companies:
Metro Auto Parts, College Park, GA,
Bob's Classic Auto Glass, Eugene, Or,
TTR (Timo Tanskanen), Riverside, CA,
Pilkington Classics Auto Glass,
Phillips Classic Auto Glass, Poplar Bluff, MO, and
BK Classic Auto Glass, Belleville, NJ.
Any suggestions or comments, positive or negative, pertaining to the above will be welcomed. I thought the outcome of this effort might be of interest to Club members in general.
