I don't know why; but in my area, the E-10 in major brand stations is cheaper than unleaded non-ethonol, while my local coop charges more for E-10 or E-85.
Don't blame it on the farmer. The farmer's Coop is owned by farmers.
Either the politicians or the oil companies are taking advantage of the subsidies to gouge.
Check your local coop; they cater to farmers, who often have older trucks and equipment that doesn't like E-10. Nearly all outdoor power equipment shouldn't use E-10
