Dave,
Within walking distance of the motel is a mini-golf place, a
Burger King, Florence Italian Restaurant, a Toyota dealer, and Samuel Adams
Brewery with tours. Across the highway there is Starlite Restaurant and &
Lounge, Yocco’s Hot Dogs (voted best hot dogs in Lehigh Valley) and Boston’s
Restaurant. I do NOT recommend you walk across the 6-lane highway. ¼ mile
north on PA-100 is a Cracker Barrel, Long John Silver’s and Pizza
Hut.

What else, if anything else, is within walking distance of the
hotel.
Just in case one is lucky enough to land a spot under the
tent?

FAQs
Tony, et al,
The Awkscht Fescht Committee will require all
cars NOT under the tent to be removed from the grounds each night after the
evening’s activities. This is because each day, certain areas of the grounds
are laid out differently, and they use the overnight hours to move things
around. I’m not sure how this affects the “Chrysler” field, but I think it’s a
good idea to take your cars back to the motel each night. I will attempt to
find out from the committee if we can move other cars down to the area just
outside the tent for those who need to keep their cars on the grounds
overnight.
So if your car is under the tent, it will be there from
Friday morning through Sunday afternoon. If your car is on the show field, it
should be taken back to the Holiday Inn each evening.
Happy
Moparing,
Mark

[Chrysler300] Macungie FAQs
Hi To All,
There have been many
calls from members who will be bringing 300s that have not been seen at
previous Meets. The last call was from an owner of a Hurst 300 who has never
been to a 300 Meet and will be driving 1000 miles.
FAQs:
If I
show my car all 3 days can I bring the car back to the hotel each
night?
Yes. Just ask to be parked at the end of the 300s’ section when
you arrive at the show for easy egress at the end of the day. On Friday and
Sat Nights there will be entertainment at the Park. Live bands, fireworks with
food there and restaurants close by. There will be security overnight at the
Park.
The cars selected for the display tent MUST stay under the tent
until Sunday.
There will be Hotel shuttles.
Will there be Awards
for Sport 300s?
You bet! Same number as fo r letter cars including Best
of Show Non-Letter Car. Like we said “WE WANT YOU AND YOUR 300."
I
called for a reservation and they would not allow me to make
it.
Reservations start on March 15. Register early and often on or
right after March 15. The more reservations, the more rooms they will allow at
the Clubs’ rate.
