RE: [Chrysler300] 61 G convertible

Bill,

I believe the piece you are referring to, is the trim fastened to the back of the board, and the front of the boot cover slips into it.  It appears to be an aluminum "C" channel.  I would think this could be found aftermarket due to the fact that there isn't anything particularly special about it.  It screws to the back of the board., and looks like an aluminum extrusion piece.

I believe my car is missing a trim piece that goes from one side of the car to the other across the board that the rear seats are attached to. I have a dealer brochure and it shows this piece. I assume this will be next to impossible to find. Does anyone know if another model would use the same piece? If anyone has a 61 does this piece attach to the wood and how?
Thank you
