This isn't my thread, but I've been following it and I am curious. VALUE considerations aside, from a judging perspective would there be an automatic deduction for the car not matching the factory color code? Is that something the judges look at? (Of course, I'm assuming all of the nooks and crannies are done correctly. And I'm also not talking about the quality of the paint job--just the color issue. And again, assuming a correct factory color for the year is used). If so, are there a specific number of points involved? Does it perhaps depend on the category (concourse versus other)? Or could it just be at the judge's discretion? Maybe someone who judges at the various meets could weigh in?
