Re. the J sticks, they were most definitely produced. Chrysler
Historical has a photo of one of the seven built; it was pictured in the Spring
1984 Club News.
I cannot answer the question about the clutch linkage. If we could
find a surviving example we could determine how the factory setup
worked. I have no factory documentation on the matter.

George replace the transmission in his J so he could get home from Maine!
As far as a stick "J" is concerned,does anyone know how they hooked up the
clutch linkage? I was under the impression from George that there
were no "J" sticks and no Ram "K" sticks due to the cast iron header interfering
with the clutch linkage. In remembering his car, the problem was obvious.
