Ryan is absolutely correct with his opinion about the front parking light
lenses. Clear with amber lamps (bulbs) is the original equipment.
The amber lenses just wouldn't look very good. Out of character with the
car.
An interesting side comment is that many current production cars have rear
signal lights that light up amber or red, but look clear when off.
Same for the taillights on some cars, which I don't happen to care for too
much. I like them to look red all the time. I prefer amber
signal lights because they really stand out from the red brake and
taillights. With modern LEDs, that is much easier done.
They can readily be made to light up in red or amber, but with clear
lenses when off.
