Hi, this reminds me , although details escape me, that the late hemi repro choke heater box , I think also from Year One (that round plastic or Bakelite thing that controls choke warm up) I am pretty sure fits on WCFB carbs. They always break off where the heat tube nut attaches to them. The late one is slightly different, but worked. Apparently the late hemi in some years, also used vacuum to draw heated air into carb choke stove through a tube like 300C and D , maybe others. I believe I found out way back that one failure mode of that setup is tube rusts in exhaust manifold, possibly allowing exhaust into choke heater which wrecks it. ( may be reason threaded part “cooks” and breaks off) It is supposed to draw air through that tube not exhaust—yube comes out other side on manifold, not into it---many do not know that. ? Not sure of all this, from long ago memory, but info for you… Real WCFB “heat stoves” were going for 400$ , unobtainable, why I got into this on a D. This posting subject to correction by others, maybe into it recently, but a real problem, when this is not working right. And it seldom is. Electric ones from Edelbrock also should fit (AFB, like on late hemi) , but then non stock..but may be better. FYI, John From: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of ldmiklas@xxxxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] I don't recall exactly, but I think I remember a member looking for this linkage or asking if it can be reproduced. I would suggest to him to check out Year One. Their reproduction Street Hemi linkage looks like a match. It can probably be purchased cheaper by doing a little searching on the web.
