My friend Mike Galassi is attempting to repair the back brakes on his 300B and needs some guidance. He has the drums off and has run into a baffle or plate which hides the apparatus behind it and is unable to see how to remove or work around said plate. One side has a leaking grease seal which needs replacing. If anyone has developed competence and confidence in the B back brakes, please contact Mike at c300lover@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or 714-528-6808 in Placentia, CA. He has the service manual for the brakes but feels he may need some special tool(s) to disassemble the assembly further. He has done a lot of work on brakes, including on his C300, has all the standard tools but is stumped. On Mike’s behalf, thanks in advance for any assistance.
