[Chrysler300] 1964 413 starter confusion

Hi all,
I have a 300K and need to replace the starter.  My confusion comes from  "experts" telling me that a 64 413 takes a different starter from any newer Chrysler big block!  So anyone out there installed a newer gear reduction stater in a 64 413? As a side note if one goes to the Rockauto web sight you will see that that they list some of the same starters for a 64, 65, and 66 big block.  In addition in 66 they list a 1.5 Kw reduction starter,hence my confusion.  Any help would be appreciated.
