Hi All. My experience with high horse power cars
tells me to never use any type of home made moter mount. I had a 59 Pontiac in
the early 60's that I raced and the Pontiac motor mounts were weak. When one
would break, the tourque would cause the engine to go to full power. It
was not a fun ride. With the power of our letter cars, I would not take a chance
on any moter mount not professionly revulcanized. Steele Rubber
Products offers this service. I dont know if a 300 would go to full power
if one broke but I know I don't want to find out. The brakes on my 300F could
not stop it. Norm L 300F
