RE: [Chrysler300] 300D trans problems





Larry, Check your band adjustment before dropping the pan. The band is adjusted externally, Check service manual for the correct procedure.

Subject: [Chrysler300] 300D trans problems

 

When in drive  car shifts from 1st to 3rd gear no slippage in these gears

First it started with 2nd gear slipping now it bypasses 2nd gear completely

 

When the car is going down the road in 3rd gear & I manually put it in second gear it slips real bad almost like it’s in  neutral

 

I checked the shifter linkage & the kick down lever & these seem to be OK

 

Anybody experienced this & know what the cause is?
