Tony Rinaldi installed a 518RH in his car and has a wealth of information on how to do it, so I would contact him. I purchased the adapter to install one in my Imperial but have not had the time to get that project done. From what I was told it is almost a bolt in and the transmissioncenter.net sells all the parts to do the conversion, you must shorten your driveshaft, I just sourced a spare to do that so I can change back if I want to. Tony has a slick wiring system in his F to control the OD and lockup. And as demonstrated it works with his 500+ cube monster as he drove his 300F to the fall meet and back to PA.
