John - Keystone did the rear bumper for my Oldsmobile in 1998 and the front and rear bumpers on my Plymouth around 2004. All bumpers still look great. In each case, I gave them nice cores. Also, after they were plated, I coated the insides with POR-15, then topcoated the insides with rattle-can silver paint. Still looks great on the inside as well. I just want good driver-quality chrome as my cars are never going to Pebble Beach or Barrett-Jackson, but I would like it to last for many years. I had my G bumper done about 13 year ago and it is starting to peel in a couple spots. The C chrome is original to the car, not peeling or rusting, but very dull. Any suggestions? I'm in the Boston area. There are Keystone places here in the area where I can drop off the bumpers and I think they ship them to their main place in Michigan or Minnesota or somewhere in the Midwest. The person who plated the G rear 13 years ago is still in the business of straightening and buffing, but no longer does the plating, so he has to ship them away somewhere else and it makes me nervous that they are not always under his control. At least with Keystone they are handling the product the whole way.
