Dear sir, my reply; The radio is completely original and functions normally as when it was new. And no one will complain about its Original looks function or improved sound. Also the generator is the original from the factory which came with this car and in every way in new condition and appearance as if it was in the showroom. No one will notice or complain about its superior charging ability or capacity to maintain the original style battery and electrical equipment or components. I was fortunate to have driven one of these Ram cars new in 1960 for about 6 months or maybe 10, as a daily driver. This was a time, mostly when there were no or just a few miles of freeways. While it did 13.9 - 14.1 in the quarter mile it was a bear to operate on the street and highway. Mainly due to the brakes which were stressed even while waiting for a red light due to the overwhelming torque and relatively high idle rpm's. I was very happy to finally have and build one which Chrysler never had the wherewithal to imagine. Anyone driving a 300F or this car frequently or regularly would not complain about the braking system and it is not obnoxiously obvious as 4 wheel discs. Certainly as a driver I can see no one complaining of the safety on freeways or other roads. Granted, if you would be expecting a trailer queen as a non driver show only, you would not need to got to this additional cost. Furthermore, most owners of these cars within the first couple of years from manufacture or ownership made upgrades and add on's in the period; so who would have the credentials or knowledge to specify what is no or major no, for the most part? And I noticed you did not mention your name or credential! The radio, generator and disc brake conversion will adversely impact the value of an otherwise, beautifully executed restoration.
