Larry, I do believe that this motor is a 1970 440. See: http://www.imperialclub.com/Part/Engine/enginecodes.htm Additionally, if it were a '66 motor, it would not have either the last 6 digits or the entire serial number of the car it was originally installed stamped on a pad in the area of the passenger side motor mount. So, have a look there. If it's a '70 block as I think, you may find the entire serial number of the car it came from or at least the last 6 digits. If the pad is not there or blank, it *could* be a factory replacement block..... My 440+6 'Cuda has the last 6 digits of the VIN stamped on this block. But, I've seen other examples that included the entire VIN....
