I think I have the answer to part of your query.  The transporter was club member Benny Buckner from Princeton, WV.  This was my father's home town and my Grandfather was the Mayor way back.  
 
Benny is retired and restores cars.  I just spoke with him yesterday about a Pertronix Ignition on the G coupe.  
 
He is delivering the car to it's owner in Wisconsin.  I have his name but don't know that he wants it out so I'll remain quiet on that.  The other G I have no idea who the owner is but Benny did say he was working on a coupe and a convertible just yesterday.
 
Lets face it, how many times will you see this.  I'd bet a full Mexican dinner I'm right.

While returning from the wonderful Spring Meet in St. Louis, I was on I-70 about 20 miles east of Indianapolus, heading east.  On the other side, heading west, I passed an open car transport truck, carying a white 300G coupe and a Cinnamon 300G convertible.  Does anyone know anything about these cars?    Terry McTaggart
