Hi To All,

There was a discussion a while ago about what were the best high zinc oils for our cars with flat tappet cams.

I have been using a highly recommended oil from Brad Penn in my newly built engine. There always were leaks.

After the discussions, I sought out another source.

This works and no more leaks:

Lucas Hot Rod and Classic Car Oil. Available from Summit Racing in 5 Qt. containers. With filter change, my engine uses 6 Qts. so buying a set of 3 5 Qt. containers was the best bet. $81.95 + S/H.

BP oil was only available in 10W30.

I got the 10W40 since my car never gets used in the depths of our NE winters. It is also available in 10W30, & 20W50.

Tony Rinaldi
300 F Conv't

Sent from Yahoo!
