Taken from the St. Louis travel guide, soon to be revealed to you members,
is this tid-bit:
*SLINGERS*
These are a St. Louis Chili parlor staple, consisting of 2 hamburger
patties (or sausage) Nested under hash brown potatoes,k covered with chili
and topped with cheese, onions and fried eggs.
Found to City Diner, Joe's Chili Bowl and others.
Try them at the Spring Meet...
