I have used the Eastwood Manifold Paint on my H, ten years ago and they still look like the day I brushed it on.

Exhaust manifolds get hot, but not 1200 to 1400 degrees hot. How do I know?
I measured mine with an infra-red heat gun, They ran about 650 degrees F.
There are several manifold coating products that work well and won't burn
off, as Bill's link shows.
