Hi Steve Use the Fel-Pro rubber gaskets! You should not need any sealant if the valve cover mating surface is true. Many times people will try to stop a leak by cranking down on the bolts. This will cause a distortion that actually perpetrates leakage. Before re-installing your cover, check the mating surface for staightness. If it is dimpled, bent or warped, lay it on a flat surface and gently hammer it back into shape.
