They did NOT as there was a clearance issue on the driver's side with the steering box.  Possibly some "special" cars were equipped as such.  The same would apply to the 1957 and earlier examples to my knowledge.
 
Differences is size of the pipes and collector.

Could someone tell me if all the 1958 300Ds came with the Exhaust manifolds with the 4 bolt exhaust flange
I think some people call these truck manifolds

Also if someone knows what all the differences are besides the 4 bolts

The reason I ask is Hotheads is now having these reproduced see link below
