Yes I used it in a race car in Mexico when they had unleaded 85 or 87 pump gasoline. It worked very well on non ethanol fuel. The problem with modern pump fuel is the hydroscopic alcohol. In our stored cars, it absorbs more than the desired amount of water and ultimately changes the composition of the fuel and also attacks the older parts in the system as well (rubber and synthetic diaphragms hoses and gaskets).
If you have or can find pure un-leded gas (without ethanol) it will work great and a second benefit is greater stabilization of the fuel.
However; When you add up the cost of the gas and the additive there is a economic lacking and perhaps another hi-o option would be useful and more economical. That would be aviation gasoline at either 100 or 106 octane which is low led and formulated to last 20 years in the tank...!%?
