Thanks to all who responded to my question. I just talked to the local Chrysler dealer parts department and he said they had in stock a "Hypoid Gear Additive" that was for the purpose of reducing chatter. Others have also mentioned Ford and GM as sources. 300ly, Gil Cunningham In a message dated 5/1/2012 8:48:01 P.M. In my cars with Sure Grip (68 Charger) I have been using Quaker State Synthetic. No additive is needed with this blend. Also using it in several Oldsmobiles with Posi Traction (GM lingo for sure grip). My apologies. 1, What is the recommended additive for Sure Grip to lessen/eliminate the roughness when making tight turns----especially when hot? Many thanks. 300ly, Gil Cunningham Tallytown, FL [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: _Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (javascript:return) To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to _bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (javascript:return) or go to _http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join_ (http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join) and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to _http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm_ (http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm) For archives go to _http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo_ (http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo) !
