Well, the only time a carb is "worn out" is if the casting is cracked or corroded with holes in it. The throttle shaft holes can be bushed and the metering devices can be recalculated for the correct flow of fuel. So... different rods and different jets would correct the metering portion. Bushings would fix the "sloppy" holes around the throttles shafts. Then you have to change NOTHING in the fuel lines and linkage. Just got home from a swap meet in Jefferson, WI. Friday was nice weather. Sunday was great also. But Saturday was all rain and mud.
