Cant tell you specifically to 1962 - earliest I have is 65 and thats 14 
inch - but most of the 14 and 15 inch for C-bodies from 65-75 were about 
4 inches backspacing. The exception was the 70 and later 15x6 styled 
road wheels which were 4 3/8 inch. I would guess 4 inches would be your 
best bet - until someone can answer for 1962 - best, ed
