I had some good results with partial disassembly of the horns on my '55 C-300, rust removal with Kroil, cleaning electrical contacts and loosening the tuning screw until the diaphragm was free to start vibrating. Not high tech. Others have reported filling the horns with rust remover of WD-40, letting them soak for a week, emptying out and good to go. They do make a wonderful blast when working correctly! Or, does anyone know of someone who repairs the ones that I've got?
