For those new to the clubs and/or forgetful, the “300 Project” DVD may be previewed at www.the300project.com and ordered from the Costons for $15, ppd. The Chrysler 300 Club, Inc. offers the DVD as a membership application/renewal incentive at $10. It’s a pretty nice product, featuring interviews with W.P. Chrysler, Bob Rodger and a plethora of Chrysler 300 owners. Chrysler test track footage from the 20’s to the ‘50’s is also featured during the 100-minute span of the DVD as is some vintage NASCAR footage. Dave Coston and his son performed a video feat for not only our club but for all those who have any interest in our Brutes. Why not send a copy to the production folks and with the Coston’s permission have them broadcast it? This video is top notch and took over 2 yrs. of work and thousands of $$ in financing. Also it includes club members who have given tremendously to promoting these cars. Why re-invent something that would not even come close to the phenomenal job the Coston’s performed. Our club is rich in folks that fit the description requested and have expertise over the whole range of the Letter Cars and the Hurst. They are featured in the 300 Project video with great examples of the cars of interest.. A quick interview with one person may be an overwhelming task for that person to accomplish. There are so many folks active in our club that have devoted all their hobby time to these vehicles, it is virtually impossible to just have one person fit the bill. I must add AM NOT one of those folks. I still consider myself a novitiate after 9 years of having a C. My humble opinion.
