I'm in the planning stages of building a workshop for my wrenching - tired of working on gravel and at minus whatever. The size of the wokshop will be 24 x 40 and will have a lift. I'd be interested to hear any sort of recomendations that any members may have in regard to my new wokshop - what worked well or didn't work well in some of your shops - or what they may have done differently or added. Thanks to all, Charlie in Ottawa, 62 Sport had this opportunity a long time ago when helping a race partner. We built a long work bench along the back side, at one end made a low access work area, the other end was a space to park the roll around tool box. Also, we wired over head lighting over the car spots, and in between the car slots. Wired electrical outlets 4-5 feet above the floor down both sides of the building, AND had outlets real near the overhead doors. For those times we wanted to use ramps, we sunk anchors in the floor to bolt the ramps in place so they couldn't slide on us. it only took one per ramp. -- Paul Holmgren Mine: 2 57 300-C's in Indy Hers: 05 PT GT R/T HO Stage 1 Hoosier Corps L#6 ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo!
