If I were installing a new upholstery kit, one of several things would happen to me:

1. I'd accidentally forget the screw holes and the screws.

2. If I did have the screw holes there, I'd likely decide the DPO put them in , and I'd leave them out. 

3. If I did remember and I wasn't sure, I'd also leave them out especially if it all fit ok.

4. But, my 62 had them, and I did put them back in. I guess I didn;t take time to think about it!
