I used Steer and Gear for both steering boxes for our '62 300 Sport and our '62 New Yorker wagon. Firm Feel on the 300 (Love it!) Stock rebuild on the New Yorker Wagon (Wish I had done the firm feel) Does not make it harder to steer with the firm feel, just makes itr feel like a good tight car! I will copy that page for my mechanic from my manual. Does the firm rebuild option make it harder to steer?
